My Skin Care Routine

Hello Beauty's, It's been a while so I thought I would post a new blog surrounding the products I use on my face before I apply Make-Up and also remove Make-Up from my face.

The products I use are all high street apart from one of the items I use to prevent blemishes/spots in the future which was prescribed to me from my GP, when my skin became really irritated and sore.

I will start this with product first, It's best to check with your Doctor first if this is something you can use as you might be allergic to some of the ingredients used to make the product.

Duac really did save my skin. I went through a really tough stage with my skin earlier on this year where everything I did seemed to aggravate it that little bit more. I just wish now I had a before and after picture to prove to you how well this product works, better than any anti-spot product I have ever used before. I must of used this a few days before I saw the results. To use I make sure my face is Make-Up free (which I will show the products I use below to make sure of this) other alternatives would be with warm water and a anti bacterial Soap, I would recommend Pears Transparent Soap this is perfect for gaining healthy and fresh skin.

As this product contains Peroxide, its best to tell you that when you first start using this product it can burn the skin a little, so I would combine this with a deep moisturiser to stop your skin from cracking. Its also meant to dye your clothing, however I have never found this and sleep with black bedding.

Since using this product without fail every day, I have not had any form of lump on my skin in the shape of a spot! FABULOUS! I have had a lot of remarks made to me on how my skin looks loads better since I started using this, so if you feel your skin is undergoing some bad treatment, the best advice I can give you is, don't waste your money on spot products on the high street as they really don't do what they're meant to! Take a trip to your Doctor's instead.

My second product which I absolutely love! is Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for the money this is really worth every penny! At the minute its on offer at £3.33 for 200 uses (if you use it how you are meant to use the 400ml bottle)! You really are getting your moneys worth, even if you pay £4.99 at its original price. Its amazing for removing all Make-Up even the waterproof mascara that some find hard to remove. I have tried a few different brands of Micellar Cleansing Water but this one is definitely my favourite. It does what it advertises, cleanses your skin and removes all Make-Up traces.

To exfoliate my face and refresh the pores I use a tiny bristled face brush that I purchased from The Body Shop alongside their Tea Tree Face Mask. I use this at least once a week just to give my skin a deep clean from all the Make-Up I use daily. Its a thick green cream which you apply till it drys onto the skin, then you can wash away with luke warm water.

and finally, my products which I purchased from Simple (which always have an offer on if you buy from your local chemist or supermarket)

From left to right, Purifying Cleansing Lotion, Eye Make-Up Remover, Hydrating Light Moisturiser, Pore Minimising Toning Cleanser

I would use the Cleansing Lotion and Moisturiser together after washing my face and removing all Make-Up (which the Eye Make-Up remover can also be used alongside the Micellar water)
The Pore Minimising product is brilliant to help close pores after you have been in a hot bath to help minimise the look of them.

I love the Simple range of products as they make sure it is good for sensitive skin, so all skin types can use their products without it been harsh on the skin.

and that's it!

So as you can see all products are easily available to the public and you're not breaking the Bank by doing so! When I was younger I didn't used to take the whole "cleanse, tone and moisturise" routine seriously but as I have now reached the dreaded age of late 20's! I make sure this method is applied ritually every day (where possible) to try and prevent bad skin for when I am older.

Thanks for reading, and I shall see you soon,

Teri-Rochelle xo
