True Beauty Academy, Pontefract.

Hello my beauty’s

I thought I would give you some inside information on an academy I have recently been studying one day accredited courses with. As they are Babtac accredited, the courses they offer are popularly recognised amongst the beauty industry.

To say I never thought I would like the beauty industry as much as I have been doing, I am definitely feeling like I am getting somewhere with my career heading in the right direction.

I first got in touch with Chelsy (the recruited manager for True Academy) in relation to becoming accredited on gel nail application. I have felt passionate towards nail art for the past few years, but needed to obtain a certificate to start doing my gel nail services on more than just my friends and family, and to cover me for insurance purposes.

Upon requesting information, I have also become aware of other courses that the academy also provides, I have listed these below;

Manicure
Pedicure
Gel Polish
Waxing
Intimate Waxing
Spray Tan
Enhance Appearance of Eyelashes & Eyebrows
Eyelash Extensions
Facials
Full Body Massage
Hot Stone Massage

I am also aware of other accredited courses coming up within the next few months, so keep an eye out on their website for further information www.truebeautyacademy.co.uk

As part of a deal they had running; I managed to attend two courses for £150.00 alongside gel nail application, I also chose to study the Spray Tan course, which works hand in hand with body painting, which I will be studying in September 2015 on my media make up course.

Chelsy is a patient ray of sunshine, alongside her friendly personality she’s also there to help and give advice after the course has finished.  She has plenty of experience when it comes to the land of beauty, which should reassure you (she really does know what she is talking about!!!) I find that attempting other courses alongside Beauty Therapy Level 2 that it has also opened my eyes to what other treatments are popular.
I learnt a few interesting facts whilst at the academy, and if you didn't already know… the first acrylic nail was founded by a dentist! In fact most of the beauty products are founded by doctors and dentists in the first instance.

So if you are looking to start a hobby, or even further your beauty career, I would highly recommend True Beauty Academy, as they are professional and really make you feel at ease. Why not get in contact yourself? Or have a treatment by one of the experienced beauticians yourself at their salon based in Wakefield.

Thank you for reading, any questions just ask, or speak to the academy yourself.
Until my next post, remember to stay beautiful.
